MedSanovia uses cookies and local storage for three purposes:
- Essential: Required for the platform to function — login sessions, security tokens, and authentication
- Functional: Remember your preferences such as currency selection and chat session history
- Analytics: Understand how users navigate and use the platform so we can improve it (aggregate, anonymized data)

* The GaaGa session key is stored in localStorage, not as a browser cookie. It serves the same functional purpose and is subject to the same controls.
4. Third-Party Cookies
MedSanovia does not currently embed third-party advertising or social media tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent where required.
Hospital partner websites, when you visit them directly, may set their own cookies. We have no control over third-party cookies and recommend reviewing the relevant hospital's privacy/cookie policy.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse some or all cookies, or to delete cookies that have already been set. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using certain features of the platform.

To clear your GaaGa chat session from local storage, you can use your browser's developer tools (Application > Local Storage) or use the "New Chat" button in the GaaGa widget.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will notify you of significant changes via the platform or by email.
